Making a neat pile of my teeth

This booklet was floating around at work which reminded me that I really ought to update this blog. So here I am, updating with scans from the very same booklet. It's genius, but inconveniently happens to bear a striking resemblance to laziness. But I do not need to worry about these things - you are intelligent people and can tell the difference.

I may have supplemented the dialogue in a few moments of boredom.

Anyway, sorry for being a slacker with my updates. My excuse is that I've been busy trying to figure out what to do with the remainder of my life, a problem I've been wrestling with for some time now. This is my current shortlist:

  • Do something really great

The eagle-eyed reader might have spotted [snip!]

This wouldn't be American material by any chance I suppose? (I have Columbo-like powers of deduction!)It reminds me of those awful Chick tracts which were once so popular, and which are, amazingly, still in circulation. (I beieve it was Freethinker that brought up the topic just recently.) You've done a good job there, too. It's almost impossible to differentiate between the original dialogue and the amended comments, I must say!!

I'm evidently not eagle-eyed (I'm probably barely a reader). What am I missing? And what does the title mean?

barriejohn - American indeed. Five points. We used to get dozens of these booklets - they were called Better Supervision.

Matt - you haven't missed anything. I was just about to launch into a bore-a-thon about the vagueness of my ambitions and so I censored myself.

Oh, and the title doesn't mean anything; I just liked the sound of it.

I don't know why my links don't come up as links any more - maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Although I have the complete set of The Office on BBC videos, I did watch as many of the episodes as I could at the weekend, before falling asleep! This was long enough to enjoy again the Peter Purves motivational tape (one of the best episodes to me - but then it obviously rings bells with me!!). It reminded me of those Open University programmes that used to be on late at night - anyone remember them? All dodgy beards and even more dodgy cardigans (and I bet they were all wearing sandals too!). I learnt a lot from those programmes though - much more than from the piss-poor Coast, which is supposed to replace them!!

Excellent dialogue changes. And title. Next time I will not be the last to comment!

Nor this time, Ariane. (But strictly speaking I haven't actually commented. Erm...) Ha ha! (Will that do?)
