Is this story going to be some metatextual jab at your audience for stalking you by checking in every day?
Not consciously, no. But now you mention it...
When this is over, you should see if you can have a peel-off page-a-day calendar made out of the story.
Would anyone buy such a thing? You'd have to be pretty disciplined not to read ahead.
Publishing short stories in the one word per page format might be a good idea in general though. Even a bad review would have to acknowledge that it's a real page turner.
