Day 59

Day 58

Saturday, 26 February 2011

Day 57

This could be a Pet Shop Boys album sleeve.

Day 56

Thursday, 24 February 2011

Day 55

I realise that this doesn't really make any sense with reference to the word in question but as long as I acknowledge that it's okay, right?

Wednesday, 23 February 2011

Day 54

It is mandatory to sing The Proclaimers' Letter from America while viewing this image. "Take a looooooooooook down the rail track..."

Tuesday, 22 February 2011

Day 53

My flat is now genuinely littered with oddments from this project, although many of them have already beaten 'increase' and 'to' into the bin - much to the dismay of museums everywhere.

Interesting fact: my laser printer is about 14 years old now and is only on its second toner cartridge.

Day 52

I wrote a poem about a teddy boy when I was fifteen. Wanna see it?

TEDDY BOY UNDER THE STARS

A teddy boy roaming the civic common
Cap in hand, a pound to the dozen
Waiting for news of his ailing pet rabbit
Resentful of the yob who broke in to stab it
Smoking and drinking to relieve his tension
Running around naked (which for now we won't mention)

Day 51

This device is known as a Galton box. I only learned this today but thought it was worth sharing.

Saturday, 19 February 2011

Day 50

Day 50. Can I get a woo? Can I get a hoo?

Friday, 18 February 2011

Day 49

Just be thankful I didn't go with the version that involved a permanent marker and my arse crack.

Thursday, 17 February 2011

Day 48

I've kept this frame on display in my lounge. They grow up so quickly you know.

Day 47

Tuesday, 15 February 2011

Day 46

Monday, 14 February 2011

Day 45

I don't want anyone to think that I'm not an incurable romantic.

Sunday, 13 February 2011

Day 44

Does anyone have any hairspray?

Saturday, 12 February 2011

Day 43

It's hard to write neatly in margarine. Not recommended for essays or even long notes.

Friday, 11 February 2011

Day 42

The portrait depicts, appropriately enough, Amy Adams.

Thursday, 10 February 2011

Day 41

Wednesday, 9 February 2011

Day 40

I've been working on this post for so long that I can't really tell whether it's any good or not. I just seem to have lost all perspective.

Tuesday, 8 February 2011

Day 39

Monday, 7 February 2011

Day 38

Despite looking like a bit of a mess, this is likely to be the most detailed image of the whole story. I ended up saving it at 0% quality and it's still the biggest file so far. It's almost uncompressible. Fascinating, you say? I know, I know.

Sunday, 6 February 2011

Day 37

Saturday, 5 February 2011

Day 36

I should probably warn you that this sentence drags on until March 13th.

Friday, 4 February 2011

Day 35

The word is 'sightings'. I don't usually film old men from my window - this blog is corrupting me.

Thursday, 3 February 2011

Day 34

It took 110 attempts to trip the shutter at exactly the moment that the flipped coin hit the focal plane. I thought I'd mention that because it probably looks Photoshopped and it's worth flagging those rare occasions when I don't cheat.

Wednesday, 2 February 2011

Day 33

'Occasional' is perhaps overstating it. Truth is, I very rarely get the opportunity to use these mugs.

Tuesday, 1 February 2011

Day 32

I seem to remember a lot of advertising looking like this circa 1997.
